Learning sewing skills in Arni
Want to get an update on what is going on in Arni? Friends of India has several successful initiatives to support women and children in this area which is approximately 100 km. from Chennai. To read the December newsletter and learn more about Arni and other happenings click here.
This summer Friends of India launched a new initiative that benefits a school for slum children in the centre of Chennai. The programme provides volunteer English language teachers to St Ebbas School, which was established over 100 years ago and provides quality education to more than 2,000 children.
