♦ Please consider donating  to our scholarship fund and helping to transform the lives of deserving, underprivileged children.

BCV International School childrenThe BCV International School in Tirunelveli, South India is a state-of-the-art school, providing high quality education in English for bright and gifted children from all backgrounds.

The aim is that this school will become self-financing, with paying pupils studying alongside the underprivileged who would otherwise not have access to decent education.

In the meantime, we want to provide immediate opportunities for underprivileged children to study at the school, through the Friends of India Scholarship Fund.

These scholarships are for children from desperately poor backgrounds who would normally receive little or no education. They are selected following an evaluation of their ability to learn, and the scholarships will allow them access to an excellent education and the real opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Education is the key to lifting them and their families out of the circle of poverty.

As an indication of how far your money will go:

CHF 50 will cover all costs, including school fees, meals and transport, to provide education for one child per month at the school.

CHF 500 will cover all costs for one child for one school year (10 months).

CHF 6000 will cover all costs for one child for a full 12 years of education.
